Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football club (ABS Ilorin FC) have embarked on a one month break following the conclusion of the 2021/2022 Nigeria National League (NNL) football season.
The club finished in sixth position with 27 points after they recorded seven wins, six draws and five defeats from eighteen matches played in the Northern Conference Group A1.
“ABS FC goes on break aftermath of the NNL season”, ABS Ilorin FC Director Of Football Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka posted on his official Facebook page.
Speaking on the club’s performance in the just concluded season the seasoned football administrator High Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka maintained that it was a good season for his side despite their failure to secure promotion to the NPFL. He however noted that the team’s philosophy which is the youth development program was still intact as they were able to develop talent home or abroad.
“So far so good, though we missed promotion but our youths development program was still intact as we were able to once again develop many talents for home and abroad”, He said in Whatsapp chat with our correspondent.
