The Kaduna born striker who has scored an impressive 27 goals in 47 appearances for his Norwegian side Molde since joining in 2018 made this known in an exclusive interview with member of NSM on Monday.
The goal poacher expressed his disappointment not to have a National team call up despite his goal scoring form.
“It doesn’t feel really good despite the scoring form, I haven’t been given a chance in the national team.
“But I just take it by faith and keep working hard that hopefully someday I will get a chance.”
The gangling striker believed he has a chance of playing in the English Premiership, citing work permits as one of the major obstacle blocking his dream move.
“At 27 years I can still play in England by God grace if I get the opportunity to play there, though work permits has being the issue over the years, hopefully that will be sorted out soon and when the opportunity arises, I will be glad to play there.”
James, who also had spell in the Chinese Super league with Beijing Enterprises also shared his experience in China.
“My time in China was a great experience having played in Europe it was nice to see what football looks like in Asia, it was a good experience for me.
“I was impressed because of the mindset I had going to China, I was thinking it will be very easy for me there but when I got there I was surprised at the level it was beyond what i was thinking, it was a good one new culture, different mentality it was a good experience for me”, he concluded.
