English Premier League side Nottingham Forest has activated a one-year contract extension for Nigerian defender Ola Aina, following an impressive debut season, Owosports.com.ng report.
Aina joined the club last summer after his contract with Italian Serie A team Torino expired.
The versatile full-back made 22 appearances for Forest, earning a reputation for his all-action displays on either side of the defense. His performances also yielded a memorable goal in a 2-0 home win over Aston Villa.
“Nottingham Forest is pleased to confirm that it has activated a one-year extension in Ola Aina’s contract,” the club announced on its official website.
