Musa Abdulafeez Olororo played a key role as Kwara United secured a vitial draw against Akwa United in the Nigeria premier football league NPFL matchday eleven clash on Saturday in Eket.
Olororo who earned his fourth start of the season is pleased to make the NPFL Insider Team of the Week following his impressive performance in Kwara United’s 1-1 draw with Akwa United on Saturday.
The defender played for the full duration of the game in his 8th league appearance for coach Kabiru Dogo’s men and helped his side keep the Promise Keepers at bay.
The result ensured the Harmony Boys climbed to 9th place in the league standings.
Olororo has been rewarded for his outstanding displays in the game with a spot in the team of the week.
The defender is joined by team mate Adewale Adeyinka who saved a last minute penalty to ensure that the spoils were shared with his former team, Doma United’s defender Nelson Abiam and Abia Warriors Afolayan Peters paired in defence, Saddiq Shabibu of Gombe picked up the left back slot despite their 5-2 humiliation at home to Kano Pillars.
