NPFL: Kumbi Titiloye Optimistic Of Kwara United’s Continental Slot

Chairman of Kwara United football club, Kumbi Titiloye has refused to rule out his side from the possibilities of playing in the continent in the 2022/2023 season.

With four games left to go to the end of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, league leaders Rivers United and Plateau United seems to have secured a place in the CAF Champions League leaving only the slot for the CAF Confederation cup available with Remo Stars, Ranger International, Kwara United and Enyimba International all in contention.

The club’s chairman Kumbi Titiloye believes his side still has a chance of qualifying for the continent if they win their remaining final four games the season.

Speaking with Journalist on Sunday night after a novelty match between Kwara veterans and Abuja All-stars, the High-profile football Administrator said “We are taking each games as it comes and it our desire to win our remaining games to the end of the season, and we would try to win all and qualify for the continent”, he stated.

Kwara United are currently fifth on the log with 52 points, same number of points with Rangers International who occupies the fourth position, while Remo stars are one point above both teams in third place, The people’s Elephant Enyimba International who are sixth on the log with 51 points are also not relenting in the pursuit to Play in the continent next season.
