Nasarawa United 3-1 Abia Warriors

Nassarawa Hits High Against Abia Warriors

It was an unlikely massive win for the Solid Miners in Lafia City Stadium.

Cracking and racking, it was an encouraging result for the Coach Arikiya acting led side even in the growing decision of the team to get the service of a Coach.

The team was virtually in the news last week for the contact and contract talk they reportedly had with their former gaffer, Coach Kabir Dogo who is currently making waves with Sunshine Stars of Akure, Ondo State.

It was reported that the Nassarawa United hierarchy approached Coach Dogo, but in a twist and mostly unexpected, the Management of Sunshine Stars FC debunked the claim saying the Coach should endeavor to take cognisance of the intricacies of the contract he is implementing with Owena whales.

The big picture here may not really be the idea of trying to bring a new Coach but the need to do much for the club Technically and ‘Manly’ before the cross will become much more bigger to carry.

Abia Warriors had relatively a poor outing in Nassarawa, it may require an extra effort from them to maintain the average level of performance they have exhibited so far into the season and improve on it.
