NPFL Match Day 24: LMC Reels Out Honors For Late Martins

The League Management Company has in the spirit of honouring the dead spirit of Nassarawa United Player, Chineme Martins orders all club to among many other honour observe a minute silence before the kickoff all matches tomorrow.

LMC, while mandating all the NPFL team’s Players and officials to wear black armbands, the league body also added that a minutes applause must be observed at 20th minutes of every game.

Chineme Martins slumped and die last week during his team encounter with Katsina United at Lafia Township Stadium.

Consequently after the unfortunate incidence, LMC during the week has fined Nasarawa United six Million naira for breaching the regulatory requirements regarding Stadium health and safety protocols of personnel in the course of the match and also wrote to NFF to suspend permanently Mr Christian Mbah, who was the Match Commissioner last Sunday in Lafia.

It also added that no matches shall be hosted at the Lafia Township Stadium until medical requirements and measures stipulated in the league rules are fully complied with.
