Kwara United Technical Adviser Abdullahi Biffo is expected to arrive Nigeria on Monday night to resume his position and prepare his team for the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season which commence in two weeks, owosports.com.ng reports.
Recall that Coach Abdullahi Biffo had on October 29th 2021 submitted his resignation letter after being queried by the Kwara State Sports Commission for missing out on the club’s 2021 budget defense an event which casted huge doubt on his future as the gaffer of the club.
However club Chairman Kumbi Titiloye in a brief chat with www.owosports.com.ng has cleared the doubt as he revealed that the former Katsina United and Abia Warriors Coach will resume tomorrow (Tuesday) November 30th 2021 to prepare his team for the Nigeria Football League Season which kicks off on December 17th.
“Biffo Resumes Tomorrow”, Kumbi said after being asked on the situation with the coach.
He further revealed that the coach will touch down Nigeria on Monday night from the United States of America were he had been recuperating from an eye surgery he had in the summer.
Biffo last season guided the Harmony Boys to a fourth place finish on the league standings for the first time in 17 years as they narrowly missed out on picking a continental ticket due to a controversial last day decision from the Nigeria football body.
