Head coach of Kwara United Football Club, Mohammed Azeez Audu says he is satisfied with his team performance against Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan on Thursday, he also affirmed that they will continue work hard to correct their lapses.
The Harmony Boys and the Oluyole Warriors played out a goalless draw in the Nigeria premier football league (NPFL) matchday two encounter at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan with both team ending the matchday with two points each following draws from their first game against Gombe United and Plateau United respectively.
“We had enough chance to win the game today more than the home team even though they are a strong and a very tactical team but we were more closer to winning but didn’t convert our chances, we will keep working till we get it right.
The team did well, everyone did very well, they played according to our game plan just little lapses here and there which will be corrected in the next game
Kwara United is a work in progress, and we will keep improving from one game to the other. We lost some vital chances in our two games so far, and we will keep on working to correct the lapses”, Coach Azeez said to Newsmen after the game in Ibadan.
Kwara United will square up against Bendel Insurance of Benin at the same venue, Lekan Salami Stadium on Sunday, in Matchday Three of the NPFL, while Shooting Stars Sports Club will play away to Remo Stars at the Ikenne Township Stadium, also on Sunday.
