The 2022/2023 Nigeria Women Football League Premiership (NWFL) Kickoff date has been reschedule for November 30, 2022, Owosports.com.ng reports.
The postponement is contained in a letter addressed to NWFL Premiership teams on Thursday, October 6, 2022.
The league was scheduled to commence on October 14, 2022, but due to logistics as stated in the letter signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the league, Mrs Modupe Shabi, it has now been postponed.
“I’m directed to inform you that the kick-off date for the 2022/2023 NWFL Premiership season has been postponed to Wednesday, 30th November 2022, due to logistics reasons.”
Bayelsa Queens are the current champions of the Nigeria Women’s Premiership.
