Edo Queens FC sensational goalkeeper, Nkiruka Obidinma has said that the coach Mathew Wemimo- led squad will come all out against Osun Babes FC on Wednesday as both teams battle each in NWFL Premiership week six game at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin-City.
Nkiruka who has been in top form since the beginning of the season expressed confidence that Edo Queens will end the first stanza of the women premiership on a victorious note.
“We are prepared and fully battle-ready for tomorrow’s match against Osun Babes. We would give our opponent a run for their money tomorrow. We are very determined to make the Edo State government and our teeming fans proud again.”
“I know that our opponents are prepared too, because, in the Nigeria Women Football League NWFL, no team is a pushover, we are all in the competition to win at the end of the season. So we are not going to underrate any side, we would approach the game as if we are playing in Super 6 finals.”
“We won’t allow anybody to intimidate us, what is most important to us this game is getting the three maximum points. And I know by the special grace of God we would get it.”
“I want to call on our teeming fans not too scared, we are going to put in our best to ensure that Edo Queens carry the day and at the same time end the first stanza of the premiership on a good note.”
Having enjoyed good commendation from the management and fans for their outstanding performance so far, the Queens will go into the game tomorrow with absolute concentration and a winning spirit to keep their top position in Group A.
