Kwara Handball Team on Wednesday Morning inflicted a heavy defeat on Team Lagos to qualify for the Semi-final of the ongoing National Youth Games in Delta State.
Team Kwara hammered Lagos by 52-26 goals in the Boy’s Quarterfinals of the ongoing 2023 National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.
Head coach of Kwara Handball Team, Coach Emeka Nnamani expressed his excitement following the victory adding that it was an expected victory as they’ve prepared very well for the competition stating that the performance clearly demonstrated their level of preparedness for the championship.
“I feel very happy, it is the dream of every coach to progress as he is playing. Now that we’ve qualified for the semi-final I just pray and hope that we cross the next bridge”, He said to Newsmen after their game.
“We trained very well before this championship if we didn’t score this number of goals it will look like we didn’t do anything, we took our time, slept in camp and trained them very well and they’ve shown the quality of training they had and come the semi final tomorrow we are also going to cross the bridge.
