The Administrator of Kwara Football Academy (KFA), Alhaji Ibrahim Bako has urged Kwara Male Football team to go for the ultimate price when they take on Team Osun in the final of the ongoing 2021 National Youth Games at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
Team Kwara defeated Team Cross-Rivers 1-0 in the Semi-Finals courtesy of an own goal from Effiong Okon in the second half of the encounter to send the Harmony Boys to the Finals where they will compete for the Gold medal.
“The Boys did well today. They gave a good fight although it was an own goal but they deserved the victory because they were really determined” says Bako
“I want urge them not to lose focus in order to achieve the ultimate target “, He concluded.
The former Secretary of Kwara United and experienced sports administrator also commended the Kwara State Sports Commission under the leadership of Coach Bolakale Magaji for the relentless efforts in developing the sports in the state.
The final has been billed to hold at 4pm on Monday at the main bowl of the University of Ilorin.
