Experienced defender, Reuben Ogbonaya has joined Markurdi based side Lobi Stars from Nigeria National League (NNL) side Niger Tornadoes of Minna.
Reuben last played for the Ikon Allah Boys on the continent in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they were bundled out of the competition by Guinean team Santoba FC 4-5 on aggregate.
He made his unofficial debut for Lobi Stars on Monday in their 2-0 win over Nasarawa United at the ongoing Ahlan Cup Pre-Season tourney in Kano state.
The former Elkanemi Warriors defender said his target is to win laurel, return Lobi Stars back to the continent.
“I feel so excited because I wanted another challenge and I got it.”
“Of course it is to win the league title, Aiteo Cup and return back to the continent”.
