Gbenga Ogunbote has been unveiled by the management of Shooting Stars Sports Club( 3SC) of Ibadan as the new Head Coach of the Oyo State owned Club.
The Tactician was unveiled to the fans and stakeholders of the Club on Monday at the Lekan Salami Stadium Adamasingba in Ibadan.
Ogunbote, who last worked for Remo Stars joined 3SC for the third time with a ‘chief’ mission to raise the bar of the team and put it on the right stead.
In the just concluded NPFL season, Ogunbote qualified Remo Stars for CAF Confederation Cup- first time ever in the history of the Club.
The Ijebu- born gaffer is one of the respected and highly experienced football manager in the league with decades of experience.
Among many other clubs he has managed in the past includes, Enyimba FC, Sunshine Stars, Giwa FC, and Rangers International FC of Enugu.
Top government functionaries at the unveiling ceremony where an official branded car was also presented to the new Coach were Oyo state commissioner for youths and sports, Hon Seun Fakorede, Chairman Oyo state Sports Council, Hon Gbenga Adewusi ‘Arole’ and Chairman Shooting Stars, Hon Babatunde Olaniyan.
