Olori Babes FC of Warri defeated Police Machine 2-0 to emerged champion of the just concluded Nigeria Women Football League, promotion play-off in Lokoja,Kogi state.
Eunice Godwin 60th minutes low strike gave Olori Babes FC the lead before 82nd minute Chika Idika’s long range shot saw Police Machine fc Goal keeper, Odiaka helpless as the ball hit the net to end the game 2-0.
Olori Babes FC are the youngest team among the four teams in the promotion playoff and their first attempt saw them emerged as the strongest and only team that did not concede a single goal.
Olori Babes FC defeated Moje Queens and Pelican stars 1-0 respectively on the road of the promotion quest.
This victory will be a great feat to Delta state as Olori Babes FC join the ranks of Delta Queens, Delta Force and Warri Wolves to fly the state flag high in the elite league in Nigeria.
