Paul Ebere Onuachu netted a hattrick in Genk’s 3-0 trouncing of Seirag in a Jupiler League fixture at the Cegeka Arena on Sunday evening, Owosports.com.ng reports.
The striker had earlier missed the chance to fire KRC Genk into the lead in the 3rd minutes from the penalty spot, before scoring all of Genk’s goals in the 42nd, 44th and 49th minutes hands his Belgian side a comfortable home win on the night.
The Nigerian International however takes his season’s goal tally to eleven, having scored nine goals in the Belgian League, One in the Champions League and one in Europa League.
The win placed KRC Genk in third position 17th points, one behind Club Brugge and K.A.S Eupen in the Belgian Jupiler League.
