The management of Berackiah International has appointed former Super Eagles Coach, High Chief Adegboye Onigbinde as its Grand Patron.
Unveiling Onigbinde in his resident in Ibadan on Saturday, capital of Oyo State, the CEO of Berackiah International, Wonders Nwigwe stated that the octogenarian is an encyclopedia of football giving his resourceful contributions to the round leather game across the globe.
“You have done more than enough for the game of football. We believe in your capacity and share your resolve towards the development of the game through our train the trainer approach”, said Nwigwe.
He noted that the decision to appoint the retired FIFA and CAF instructor as grand patron of the project was borne out of the need to leverage on his experience in impacting knowledge on coaches.
Onigbinde, who was also presented the certificate of his appointment was part of the resource persons at the NLO/Berackiah Football Coaching Clinic where about 1000 coaches were trained across Nigeria on modern tactics and techniques of football.
Having struck a partnership with ALGON,(Association of Local Government of Nigeria), Berackiah International will be organising another round of football coaching clinic across all the 774 local government in Nigeria with a bid to build the capacity of the Nigerian Coaches.
