Onyekuru Expresses Delight After Scoring Third Goal In Two Games

Super Eagles striker Henry Onyekuru was on target for Galatasaray as they spanked Istanbul Basaksehir 3-0 at the Türk Telekom Stadyumu on Tuesday evening.

Three Nigerians were on parade in the starting lineup, Onyekuru and Oghenekaro Etebo for Galatasaray and Azubuike Okechukwu for the visitors, with Valentine Ozornwafor only being listed in Galatasaray’s bench.

Oyekuru gave Galatasaray the lead just before half-time as he headed home powerfully after connecting with a brilliant delivery from Ryan Donk.
Donk however made it 2-0 in the 64th minute and then Mostafa Mohamed converted a spot kick to make it 3-0 in the second minute of stoppage time.

After the game the Nigerian posted on Twitter, “What a week! Happy to be back in the stadium ? and contribute with another goal! All praises to God! ⚽️??.”

The AS Monaco loanee has now taken his goal tally to three after he bagged a brace in his first game since making a sensational return to the Turkish giants.
