High flying Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been named the best foreign athlete of the year in Serie A by the Foreign Press Association, Owosports.com.ng reports.
The Stampa Estera’s best foreign athlete award was presented to the Nigerian International on Monday in Italy.
The award is the second global recognition for the former Lile of France striker who have been on fine form this season.
Recall that the striker was in 2022 named the Power Horse Emerging Player of The Year award by Dubai Globe Soccer.
Osimhen has so far netted 19 league goals and three assist for Napoli who are chasing for their first Serie A crown in over thirty years.
The Partenopei also took to their twitter handle to celebrate Osimhen on Monday after winning the award.
