Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has been named the Serie A Best Striker of the 2022/2023 season, Owosports.com.ng reports.
The 2022-23 campaign will come to a halt on Sunday and there are still a few to be decided such as who drops to the serie B and which team qualifies to the Europa League and the Conference League.
Osimhen who has been named the best striker is on course to winning the Capocannoniere after notching 25 goals and four assist so far this season.
His Napoli teammate Kim Min-jae gets the nod as the best defender, beating out Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Milan full-back Theo Hernandez.
The best midfielder award goes to Inter man Barella, who was preferred to Adrien Rabiot of Juventus and Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Meanwhile Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was named as the best player of the Serie A.
