Head coach of Abubakar Bukola Saraki Ilorin Football Club, Anthony Encho, has stated that his first objective is to win against E-World FC in the President Federation Cup on Thursday.
ABS Ilorin FC will face E-World FC in the round of 64 of the Men’s President Federation Cup at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on Thursday, March 19th, 2025.
Speaking to the club media after Monday’s training session, the Cameroonian gaffer who has just returned for a second spell with the Saraki Boys, affirmed his team’s readiness.
“The Boys are okay and good to go,” he said. “We need to approach the game like any other game, like a final because FA cup is not a game you just play and come back. We need to approach it like a final and we are going there to win and that is our first objective and we have to have that positive mindset to go and win.”
Encho also expressed confidence in his squad, saying, “The squad is good to go. I saw their last FA cup game against Kwara United, they are good young players and I believe that with that same mentality I saw against Kwara United they can do better.” He concluded.
