Oyenkachi Durugbor Makes Switch to Xamax in Switzerland

Former Nigeria U-20 forward, Oyenkachi Paschal Durugbor, has completed a move to Swiss second division side, Xamax, from Sporting Lagos.

 

The talented striker signed a two-year contract with the Swiss club, with an option for an extension.

Durugbor’s transfer was facilitated by Omoefe Erusiafe Innocent owner of Topflight football, a reputable football agent. The 22-year-old joined Sporting Lagos from NNL side, 1472 FC, just before the start of last season.

Xamax, founded in 1912, is a Swiss football club based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The team has a rich history in Swiss football, having won several domestic and international titles.

Oyenkachi Durugbor’s move to Xamax marks a significant milestone in his career, as he seeks to make a name for himself in European football.

The young striker has already shown promise in his career, representing Nigeria at the U-20 level and scoring crucial goals for his previous clubs.
