Former France International, Patrick Vieira knows the impact made by Michael Olise in Crystal Palace’s unexpected win away at Manchester City in the English Premier League on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola watched his City team in disbelieve in his 200th match as the Etihad Stadium faithful were dealt a huge blow in a 0-2 defeat at home.
Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira did applaud the contributions of midfield sensation, Michael Olise who had just a few minutes to make his mark after he came in late in the match.
According to Football London, Vieira noted that considering Olise’s form, he would maximize the space in the game.
“It’s the quality of the teams that we’re facing as well; we know that we have to keep trying to score that second goal”. Vieira told Football London
“And we know that Michael (Olise) is doing well at the moment; he is working well in training. We know as well that with the space that there will be in a game, with the quality that he has, that he can create something or can score your goals. So that was a good decision from the staff.”
