Twenty-one players have reportedly arrived Super Eagles camp in Morocco ahead of the national team’s first training session scheduled for 5pm on Tuesday evening, Owosports.com.ng reports.
Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, assistant captain William Troost-Ekong, and captain Ahmed Musa are amongst the 21 players expected to begin their first training session on the grass this evening.
Others are Chidozie Awaziem, Samuel Chukwueze, Kenneth Omeruo, Moses Simon, Zaidu Sanusi and Shehu Abdulahi Glasgow Rangers duo of Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo have also linked up with the Super Eagles squad in Tangier.
English Premier League quartet Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi along with Daniel Akpeyi, Chidera Ejuke, Ola Aina, Paul Onuachu, Kevin Akpoguma and Jamilu Collins were already in camp on Monday.
Former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo, Napoli star Victor Osimhen and late invitee John Noble were still being expected as at the time of writing of this report.
The Super Eagles players in camp trained in the gym this morning and their first training session on grass is scheduled to begin at 1700 hours under the guidance of manager Gernot Rohr.
