Striker Odion Ighalo has on Thursday afternoon arrived Super Eagles camp in Tangier Morocco ahead of the Qatar 2022 FIFA Worldcup Qualifiers against Liberia on Saturday.
The 32-year-old returned two years after he announced his retirement from the National team just after the 2019 African Cup Of Nations in Egypt where he emerged as the tournament top scorer.
“I’m happy to back in the team, it’s been two years plus now, good to see some of the guys, I’ve seen Ekong my strong man hopefully I will see the rest of the guys in training”, He said to Super Eagles media team.
Nigerian will on Saturday 13th November file out against Liberia at the Grand Stade de Tanger Stadium in Morocco before returning to take on Cape Verde for final group C game at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos Nigeria on Tuesday 16th on November 2021.
