Remo Stars CEO Rolls Out Cash Gift To Players, Technical Crew, Staffs

Owner of Remo Stars Football club, Hon Kunle Soname has gifted a total amount of 28 million naira to the team for qualifying for CAF Champions league at the just concluded Nigeria Premier League (NPL) season.

Remo Stars who finished second in Group A in the regular season also finished second in the championship playoffs held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Onikan Lagos.

They lost out on the title to eventual winners Enyimba via goal difference after they both tally on same points (9) with the People’s Elephant lifting the title a record nineth after they finished with a better goal difference to topple both Remo Stars and Rivers United.

While speaking during the reception party organized for the team on Monday, Soname announced the sum of N20 million naira to the Players, N5million naira to the Technical Crew and Medical Crew.

The highly respected administrator also announced N1.5million naira to the Media Team and N1.5million naira to the Supporters Club.

Remo Stars will play in the Continent for second time since gaining promotion to the Nigeria premier league (NPL) they were knocked out by ASFAR Rabat of Morocco in the preliminary round of last year’s CAF confederation cup.
