In a pulsating encounter, Rivers United and Kwara United battled to a 0-0 draw in Ilorin on Thursday evening, as part of the rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 23 fixtures. Rivers United’s Samson Paul had the first clear-cut chance in the 5th minute, but he failed to convert. This was followed by another missed opportunity in the 26th minute, when a through pass found Paul, but he was unable to capitalize.
