Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC goalkeeper, Saka Ajanaku, has apologized for his errors that led to the team’s 3-2 defeat to Calabar last weekend.

Ajanaku, who had a disappointing outing, expressed remorse to his teammates, management, and fans, stating that he is still reeling from the defeat.

“It was a disappointing performance from me, and I’m yet to recover from it,” Saka said. “I want to apologize to my teammates, the management, and the fans.”

The goalkeeper has been left out of the squad to face Mandiba FC in the Nigeria National League (NNL) rescheduled matchday three clash on Wednesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.

However, the goalkeeper remains optimistic about the team’s chances, expressing confidence that ABS Ilorin FC will bounce back with a win against Mandiba FC.

“I am confident we will bounce back with a win in Lagos against Mandiba FC,” Saka added. “We have all it takes to beat Mandiba FC, and I am sure we will. I have full confidence in our group to get the job done in Lagos.”

The match kicks off at 12 noon on Wednesday.
