Nigerian Winger Samuel Chukwueze has agreed a new improved contract at Villarreal that sees his release clause rise to €100m for the next 2 years and could be lowered to €80m on the 3rd year.
The 20 year old contract has now been improved thrice in just over a year from €25m to €65m and now €100m.
Chukwueze was part of the Nigerian squad for Africa Cup of Nations hosted in Egypt. He scored his first senior goal in Nigeria’s 2–1 win over South Africa in the quarter finals.
