Samuel Chukwueze Handicapped As Roma dump out AC Milan 




Nigeria’s Super Eagles star, Samuel Chukwueze was a second half subtitued for his Italian club AC Milan but was unable to help the Rossoneri avoid defeat as they were knocked out of the Europa league by AS Roma who progressed to the semi-finals following a 2-1 victory at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday night.



Gianluca Mancini opened the scoring for the hosts after 12 minutes before Paulo Dybala doubled Roma’s lead 10 minutes later to cement a 3-1 aggregate victory.




Daniele de Rossi’s side went down to 10 men after Mehmet Zeki Celik’s lunging challenge on Rafael Leao.


Matteo Gabbia scored a late consolation for Milan.



Samuel Chukwueze came off the bench on the 46th minutes in place of former Chelsea star Ruben Loftous Cheek but lacked enough firing power to inspire his club to victory over AS Roma.


England international Tammy Abraham, who recently returned from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, came off the bench in the 28th minute in place of the injured Romelu Lukaku.
