President of SGFC Athletics Sports Club and football enthusiast, Richard Opanuga has commended SPOCS Global organizers of the recently concluded SPOCS Scouting Tournament in Ikenne, Ogun State. Nigeria.
The four days tourney which began on Monday 2nd October 2023 with 28 teams in participation came to a halt on Thursday 5th October 2023 with lots of raw talent being discovered.
The tourney had in attendance top scouts across the globe which includes, Sacha Empacher CEO SPOCS Global, Geoff Lockhart former Newcastle United scout, Cedric Cattenoy lead scout of Chicago Fire FC and other top scouts who graced the occasion.
“This was top-notch and one of the best scouting tourneys to be organized in Nigeria”, The American football enthusiast said to journalists in Ikenne.
“The immense talent and potential displayed through the scouting tournament was truly inspiring. I want to thank SPOCS Global for providing us with such a huge platform for these young players to showcase themselves in a bid to pursue their dreams and achieve greatness in the world of football.” He concluded.
The tourney will continue in Accra, Ghana this weekend featuring Premier League & D1 and D2 clubside: DREAMS Football Club, The Club Still Believe FC, Emmanuel City FA, Vision FC, Tudu Mighty Jets FC, Golden Strickers FC, Desidero FC, Mobile Phone People FC amongst others.
