Minister for Youth and Sports Development Hon, Sunday Dare has continued to stress on the basic need for sports in the country to be categorise as a business sector for developmet to take effect, OwoSports Reports.
The minsiter via twitter stated that the first step toward the development of sports in the country is to first categorise sports as a business sector not just entertainments.
“The first step towards the industrialization agenda is the categorization course sports as a business sector rather than a mere recreational platform.
“That achieved we move on to putting together a National Sports Policy with an embedded business model akin to what obtains elsewhere”, he tweeted.
The minister has been working to bring Nigeria sports back to its glory days with notable reconstruction works on going at the Moshood Abiola staduim Abuja and the National staduim surulere Lagos.
