The Sports Minister, Senator John Enoh will this Saturday flag off the 7th National Youth Ganes in Asaba, Delta State.
Senator Enoh will be joined by the Governor of Delta State, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and other top Delta State government officials at the opening ceremony, billed to start at 3pm at the main bowl of the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
According to the organizers, no fewer than 4,500 athletes from across the federation are jostling for honours in 36 sports.
Meanwhile, team Ogun’s quest for honours will officially begin on Sunday when the state’s female football team lock horns with its counterpart from Nasarawa state
The Gateway state has put forward 141 athletes to compete in 25 sports.
