The Honorable minister for Sports Mr Sunday Dare has revealed his optimism against tomorrow’s friendly between the Super Eagles and the Celecao of Brazil in Singapore.
The minister tweeted via his Twitter handle.
“I spoke with some of the Super Eagles players this afternoon In Singapore. They are ready for the soccer battle tomorrow. I also spoke directly with Rohr who assured Nigerians the team will do the country proud. And even though it’s a friendly they will approach the game seriously”.
The Super Eagles will take on Brazil in their first friendly match since a 2-2 draw against Ukraine in September where they had led 2-0 only for the host nation to score twice late in the game.
