Sprint Sensation: Oluebube Ezechukwu Hits New PB to Qualify for World U20 

 

 

 

 

Miracle Oluebube Ezechukwu has achieved an impressive feat by qualifying for the World Athletics U20 Championship in Peru for the second time, Owosports.com.ng reports.

 

 

Competing at the MTN Champs Jos, Oluebube ran a remarkable personal best in the women’s 200m event, crossing the finish line in 24.05s (-0.8) and winning her second junior title. This achievement surpasses the qualification standard of 24.35s, solidifying her spot at the World U20 Championships.

 

 

Additionally, Chigozie Rosemary Nwankwo finished second with a new personal best of 24.58s, while Ojone Akubo-Adegbe took third place with a personal best of 25.63s. Oluebube’s exceptional performance has earned her a spot at the MTN Champs final in Calabar, where she will compete with two qualifications for the World U20 Championships.
