The Minster of youth and sports development Mr, Sunday Dare has commended Nigerian youths
and the Nigerian athletes who are currently making the nation proud at the ongoing commonwealth games in Birmingham added that they’ve proven to be a good ambassador and future leaders.
The Minister made this remarks at the African Church Cathedral, Durumi Abuja, at the 55th birthday thanksgiving service of Bishop Peter Oluwakemi Ayodeji Ogunmuyiwa.
While speaking, Mr Dare stated that the youths have been excelling in entertainment, Fintech and sports. Stating that as a country the expectations for the youths are great but insist that there must be an increase in their investment and enterprise adding that he expect them to be a good leader when they get the opportunity.
On the forthcoming 2023 general elections the youth were charged to be active participants and not commentators, he expressed his faith in the youth and also the financial challenges which they also face.
“Our youths stand the chance right now, I know they are challenges of funding, you don’t have to start as governor, you can start as a councillor, a local government chairman, just make sure you’re part of that political system development.
