Super Falcons star midfielder, Halimatu Ayinde has joined Swedish Damallsvenkan side, Rosengard. The Swedish club announced this on Friday
Ayinde will join the club from Elskilstuna where she played alongside fellow Nigerian, Ngozi Okobi who she partners in the Super Falcons midfield.
“FC Rosengard is a top club and I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to represent it.” Ayinde said after completing her move.
Halimatu Ayinde was part of the Super Falcons team that finished fourth at the CAF African Women’s Nations Cup in Morocco, She was shown a straight red card in the semi-final clash against the Host Nigeria lost 5-4 on Penalty.
