Ex Super Eagles defender Taye Taiwo has joined Cyprus based side Doxa Katokopias
The former Lobi Stars player Ismaila Taye Taiwo signed a year deal with the Cypriot first Division side Doxa Katokopias.
Taye Taiwo was formerly in the books of Finnish top-flight side RoPS during the 2019 season where he scored a goal in 27 league matches before making the switch.
The 35-years old left-back, started his professional career at Nigeria Professional Football League side Lobi Stars, has enjoyed a nomadic career across Europe, playing in England, Italy, France, Turkey, Switzerland and Finland, had 58 caps for the senior National team side scoring 8 goals before being frozen out of the Super Eagles.
