The Sky Blue Stars’ journey in the elite league began with a dream in 2016, as the team secured promotion to the NPFL, only to face the harsh reality of relegation in their debut season.
But the Ikene base club refused to be defeated. They battled back with a fierce determination, earning promotion once more in 2018.
However, the ups and downs continued as they faced relegation again in 2019. The team was left reeling, but their spirit remained unbroken.
After a year of regrouping, Remo Stars FC made a triumphant return to the NPFL in 2021, finishing an impressive third in 2022 and narrowly missing out on the title with two consecutive second place finish in 2023 and 2024.
