Chairman of the Club Owners Association and Nasarawa United Chairman Barrister Isaac Danladi has insisted that there are abundance of talent in the Nigeria Professional Football League which Super Eagles manager can pick from.
The football administrator speaking with Journalist on foremost WhatsApp platform Family United By Football, stated that he has tried as much as possible to see that the NPFL players get a call up to the Super Eagles squad.
“We have tried as much as possible to see that the National teams coaches look the direction of the NPFL Players, he stated.
“But again you know they are the one with the solid responsibility they have been given the free hands to chose the players that they need to work with, and they are the ones who pose the final shot.
“Not even as a club owner chairman, as a member of the technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), I have always tried as much as possible to encourage the coaches to look towards our NPFL players but for one reason or the other I don’t know atimes they are invited atimes they are not given the attention they need to prove their mantle.
“We have quality players, we have players in quantity and in quality, but again these our coaches always want already made materials forgetting the fact that this same players orginnated from the home front.
“It is a work in progress we will continue to interface with the technical committee and also the coaches under the Super Eagles to see how they can look the direction of our home base players.
“I feel very bad that the set-up for the last word cup that the home based players were not included, but again the world cup has come and gone let look forward to the next World Cup and let from now to see how we can encourage these coaches, the technical crew members to see if they can give our NPFL players a chance”.
