Three times America Championships Lily Zhang has knocked out Nigerian’s Edem Offiong from the Tokyo Olympics table tennis Women’s Singles events, Owosports.com.ng reports.
Edem failed to consolidate on her opening day victory over Csilla Dora Madarasz as she consequently handed Zhang the match point.
The Nigerian put in a great effort but her Tokyo 2020 journey ends after a 1-4 (13-11,2-11,2-11, 8-11,6-11) loss to 3-time American champion Lily Zhang.
