Following Crown FC 2-1 victory over Sporting Lagos on Sunday evening at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, head coach of the club Tony Encho has stated that it will be operation win every game from now on.
The Ogbomoso landlords put up a spirited performance to bounced back from a disappointing home defeat on the opening day against Gateway United as they piped Sporting Lagos 2-1 in Lagos.
It was an interesting evening of football in an electrifying atmosphere with the home side enjoying the needed support but the Ogbomoso side where not dithered as they kept their composure to earn the needed win.
Oke Kayode scored the opener with five minutes left before the break as he heads home from the conner kick, Stephen Eneji sealed the victory on the 73rd minutes with a beautiful acrobatic kick.
Captain Vincent Akpikpi would reduce the deficit on the 82nd minutes after the goalkeeper allowed his free-kick to slip through his hand into the net.

Coach Tony Encho in his post match reaction said. “I feel very happy it a good relief, after the lost at home I went back to correct my mistake which paid off”, He said.

Speaking on the correction he made, he said “We tried to caution our defense line because it was so flat we needed to be more compact which we were able to achieve today”, He concluded.
