Fidelis Ilechukwu has pleaded with fans and critics of Heartland FC of Owerri not to press the panic button yet.
The Naze Millionaires were stabbed 1⃣-0⃣ in the heart by Ilechukwu’s former club, MFM FC of Lagos on the opening day of the new domestic league season at the Okigwe Stadium.

“It was sad for me and my players as they gave their best but at the end MFM won. But its football, you win some and lose some.
“We are still in the early stage of the season, so not the time to press the panic button.
“I want to assure our fans that we’ll get it right, but the must first forget about the loss to MFM and move on.
“A passionate appeal to them from me, they must please keep faith in the team supporting us always.”
