English Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur has shown interest in signing Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu as the North London club seeks a backup option for their English striker, Harry Kane.

The Nigerian forward will have a plethora of options to pick from as a few more clubs have also shown keen interest. German club, Borrussia Dortmund, Spanish giant Atletico Madrid and two English clubs, West Ham and Southampton top the list.

According to the Daily Mail, the London club is considered front runner in the race to land the 6ft 7iIn Genk striker on who the Belgium club placed a  £20M price tag.

Onuachu, 27, has been a consistent goal-scorer for Genk, his statistics set him apart, this term as he has scored 11 goals in 11 matches. The imposing striker will bring more to which ever club he finally goes to. His aerial presence, his physicality and consistent desire to score goals in the box makes him an asset.

Perhaps the decision the Genk player took recently to change his agent may have paid up as a move could happen in the January transfer window if interested clubs meet his £20m valuation. He has now link up to Zagreb-based former Croatian footballer Andy Bara at Niagara Sports.
