Report from Portugal suggests Eredivisie side FC Twente have declared interest to convert the loan deal of Super Eagles defender Tyronne Ebuhei to a permanent deal after an impressive loan spell with the Dutch side.
The right back joined FC Twente on loan from Benfica at the start of the season after he failed to secure a regular playing time with club after just recovering from a lengthy injury.
Tyronne Ebuhei joined Benfica in the summer of 2018, but an injury suffered during the International Champions Cup in the USA ruled him out of the 2018/2019 season.
According to the report, The Tukkers are planning to exercise the purchase option – that was inserted – in the deal.
Benfica inserted an option to buy at the rate of two million euros, Twente, however, want the fee reduced.
Ebuhei made thirty-three appearances, scored a goal, and assisted one.
