Gernot Rohr looks set to dump the Super Eagles coach after Sunday’s high profile friendly game against Brazil.
The five times World champions host Nigeria in a second tune up game two days after they were held to a 1⃣-1⃣ draw by Senegal at the Singapore National Stadium, Kallang.
A member of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Reforms Committee and BBC World Football Writer, Osasu Obayiwana broke the news on his Twitter handle @osasu Saturday morning.
His tweet read, “Information from Singapore indicates that Gernot Rohr COULD quit the @NGSuperEagles job, after the game against #SelecaoBrasileira.
“Rohr is infuriated that @thenff publicly denied the fact that he is being owed three months wages.”
Recall on Friday the Glass House claimed while clearing the air that they owe the Franco-German a month salary.
“We wishe to put records straight with regards to a claim in the social media on Friday, 11th October 2019 that the football house is owing Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, three months’ salary.
“As we speak, Mr. Rohr is only being owed salary for the month of September 2019, which is being processed.”
