Victor Sochima has announced his departure from Rivers United, marking the end of an extraordinary three-year chapter with The Pride of Rivers.
Sochima, 25, joined the club in 2021 from Jigawa Golden Stars, and was an integral part of the team’s success, culminating in their historic first league title win in 2022.
In his farewell message, Sochima expressed his gratitude to Rivers United for the opportunity to be a part of the team’s journey, acknowledging the ups and downs that come with the game.
“The End of an Era… Thank you Rivers United for the wonderful 3 years of…victories… trophies and wonderful experiences…the ups and downs of events are part of the game and we shall all conquer.. wishing the club good luck for the future,” Sochima wrote.
“I will always cherish the memories and lessons learned during my time at Rivers United,” Sochima added.
