Sources within the camp of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria have alleged that that Enyimba midfielder, Daniel Daga might miss out from the team’s trip to Togo for the upcoming WAFU-B tournament.

The midfielder who has been part of the team in the past is one of the retained players. Sources alleged that the player failed to submit his passport before the deadline given by the NFF for the journey to Togo.

“His agents are the major problem. They refused to release his passport before the deadline and claimed that one embassy held his passport when others had submitted their own for about two weeks.

The source further stated that the midfielder has become an integral part of the team but his agents are keen to prevent the boy from representing the country just because of a deal he’s abroad.

“They don’t want him(Daga) to play for the team and want to take him to Norway. He’s an important part of the team but their selfish interests wouldn’t allow him to Togo” the source concluded.

The Flying Eagles are expected to depart for Togo on Tuesday to participate in the WAFU-B Tournament.
