Handler of the Nigeria U-20 Men’s team the Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso has dedicated his team 2-0 victory over the Black Satellites of Ghana to his late Mum.
The Flying Eagles got off their WAFU B campaign on a bright note following a 2-0 victory over rivals Ghana at the Stade General Seyni Stadium in Niamey Niger on Sunday Evening.
Speaking after the game Bosso said, “We deserve our 3 points. The boys played to instructions and made the entire Nation proud. We are on course, we are focused ahead of the next game, come Wednesday the 11th May.
“The opponents gave us a good fight considering the rivalry between the two countries, we where better, we took our chances, though the team is still work in progress with the qualification ticket our main target”.
Coach Ladan Bosso who lost his mum while preparing the team for the tournament dedicated the victory to her, “I dedicate the victory to my late mum who died just a week ago”, He concluded.
